Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and G6 Homes, LLC (“RoomSpec”, “we”, “us”) about your use of roomspec.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are signing up for a company, you confirm you have the authority to agree on its behalf.

What RoomSpec is

RoomSpec lets a construction company upload a floor plan, have the rooms on it detected, print a QR code for each room, and attach specifications, documents and photos to each room. Anyone who scans a code or opens a room link can view that room and the rest of the project without an account. The Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data.

Accounts and teams

• You must be at least 18 and using RoomSpec for business purposes.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you add to your company.
• Give us accurate information and keep it current.

Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Current plans are Starter at $29/month, Pro at $79/month, Enterprise at $199/month. Each plan has limits on active projects, team members and storage, shown on the pricing page.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial months.
• If a payment fails we will let you know and retry. If it keeps failing we may suspend the account until it is settled. Your content is kept during a suspension.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after that.
• Prices do not include sales tax, which is added where it applies.

Your content

• You own what you upload. Plans, specs, documents and photos stay yours.
• You give us permission to store, process and display that content so the service works: rendering plans, sending plan images to our AI provider to detect rooms, generating thumbnails, and showing room and project pages to anyone who opens them.
• You are responsible for having the right to upload it. Architectural drawings are usually owned by the architect or designer. Make sure your agreement with them allows you to upload, reproduce and share their drawings this way.
• You are responsible for what appears on public pages. Do not upload personal information about other people, pricing or contract details you would not want a visitor to see, or anything unlawful.

Public pages and QR codes

• Every room and project page is viewable by anyone who has its link or scans its code, with no sign-in. Links are unguessable, but anyone you give one to can pass it on. Sharing them is your decision and your responsibility.
• Deleting a room or project removes its public pages, and any printed code for it stops working. Archiving a project does not remove its pages.
• Printed signs and coverplates are physical objects outside our control. Codes keep pointing at their room pages for as long as those rooms exist in your account.

AI room detection

Rooms are found on your plans automatically. The detection can miss rooms, misname them, place a marker in the wrong spot, or pick up spaces that are not rooms. Check the result before you print codes or rely on it. RoomSpec is a way to organize and share information about a job; it is not a substitute for the stamped drawings, and nothing on a room page changes what the plans and the contract require.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Use RoomSpec for anything unlawful or to infringe someone else's rights.
• Try to get around plan limits, access other companies' data, or probe the service for weaknesses.
• Upload malware or anything designed to disrupt the service.
• Resell access to RoomSpec, or scrape it, without our written agreement.

Availability and changes

We work to keep RoomSpec available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may need to take it down for maintenance. We may change or add features over time. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your content.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RoomSpec is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will meet your needs or that room detection will be accurate. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including work performed in reliance on a room page, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as the law permits.

Ending the agreement

• You can close your account at any time by cancelling your plan and emailing us.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after giving notice where it is reasonable to do so. Where we can, we will give you a chance to export your content.

General

• These terms are governed by the laws of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts there.
• If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and email account holders. Continuing to use RoomSpec after that means you accept the change.
• If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about RoomSpec.
